April Empower Insights

According to Pam Gregory the esteemed astrologist, April is supposed to be one of the biggest months of this year. I’m no astrology expert, but I can feel the bigness of what we are experiencing, both individually and collectively. Can you?

This month has a real ‘time to get serious and get it all done’ kind of vibe. The pace will be fast and furious. I find this month’s insights to reflect that and also to lead us to thrive during this big time. I hope you do too:

Insight #1 – Time to figure out who you really are…

Authenticity is the name of the game right now. Showing up as yourself! But it’s hard to do that when we aren’t fully tuned into who we really are.

This came up in March’s insights as well – more around dissolving the parts that were distracting from who you really are. Well, for April this energy of who you really are is in full force!

In this moment, when you tune into your very essence – do you know who that is? Who are you exactly? What are you bringing to this world and this time? What energetic imprint do you make?

Perhaps these are easy questions for you or perhaps not. And I’m talking about the essence of you, your soul(s), your innermost being.

April 2026 is asking that we show up fully, as ourself, authentic and pure. What happens inside when you read that? Discomfort, excitement, joy, confusion? or a combination perhaps?

If you are far along the path of these questions, then lean a tiny bit more into it. If you are just starting to tap into your innermost self, then lean into it this month. You don’t have to be fully realized to match the energy of April, perhaps you are just showing up 5% more your true self this month. That is amazing!

If you need a little help with this, you can try this audio practice that we used in the empowered program that just wrapped up. It’s about meeting yourself.

The world needs you. The real you. And this is a beautiful time to really sink into this energy.

Reflections:

  • Spend some time each day really tuning into your essence. Use the audio practice above – only 10 minutes/ day. Write down the characteristics that come up, who are you really?

Insight #2 -Intuition is expanding for us all

This one is near and dear to my heart.

We ALL have intuitive abilities. All of us. And this is big time expanding this year and has the potential to really show up for you this month!

The challenge will be staying centred enough to trust it (see insight #3 for more on this) …

Back to your intuition – how do you sense things? Somatically, emotionally, visually, auditorially? Or do you just know things sometimes?

We have been taught to ignore this stuff, not give it credibility. But now, we are in a time of expansion and psychic abilities expanding. It’s pretty great. More and more people are awakening to this than ever before.

In the work I do with my clients, it’s a big theme that comes up – how to trust what you feel. So much so, that I’ve created a membership (launching April 20th) that focuses on exactly this!

As we heal, these abilities come online more, we learn to hear and trust our knowings. It takes practice and it takes a community to reflect this work and connection.

If you are curious to do more of this work – check out the insight membership

Reflections on your intuition:

  • How do you receive information? Write down the ways you feel you are intuitive. Spend some time this month noticing these signals coming in. Write them down! The more you notice them, the more you will see so many examples showing up in your life.

Insight #3 – Embodiment will be key for your expansion

Intuitive expansion is great, but really only accessible when we can stay grounded and stay embodied.

The reliability of your intuition is contingent upon your ability to be grounded.

Embodiment and groundedness is easier for some and harder for others.

With this wild April energy it will be easy to get caught away from your typical grounding state (see insight #4 for more on this). So, although we are expected to expand psychically, it will be a task for some of us to notice it with the whirlwind energy pulling us out of centred-ness.

When you are spending time connecting in with your intuition, make sure to remember the body. Be there. That is where we can expand from. It gives us a home to expand out from, otherwise we are just floating around up there.

As a somatic experiencing practitioner – this is work I do everyday with people. I have spent so much time doing this work of being in my body and yet, this month I can feel it pulling me up and out. I can tell it will be extra work on my part to stay here in this body so I can understand what is coming from my expansion.

How about you? can you feel that? and how will you stay embodied?

Reflections on getting embodied:

  • What helps you be in your body?
  • Take 1 minute everyday to tune into how much you notice your body? No judgement, just curiosity, what do you feel in your body? sensation? emotion? discomfort? just be with it. Allow it to talk to you.
  • Go outside and touch nature everyday – touch a tree, have your feet on the dirt, snow, or grass ground. Go to the river or lake or ocean. Use your eyes to see nature and say hello to it.

Insight #4 – Carve out serenity

The energy for April is big, bold, fiery & fast. It’s easy to get carried away with all the world events or the velocity of your personal life and experience.

For this month it’s so important to find time for a bit of serenity, calm, peace, inner reflection – in order to survive the intensity of what will happen.

What do you do that helps you get into a calmer, stiller, serene state? Meditation, walking in nature, staring at the wall, feet on the earth, yoga, etc.

Make a point of spending a few minutes (at least) each day checking in with yourself in this way.

If you find yourself getting caught up and ungrounded from it all, know that you are not alone! And spending time doing some grounding can really help. Try this meditation & grounding practice if you need a little extra help.

Reflections on :

  • Spend a few minutes (at least) each day with a practice that gets you into a serene/ calm/ relaxed headspace.
  • Try sitting with eyes closed, hand on heart and imagining your breath flowing in and out of your heart. Do this for 5 minutes when you are feeling caught up in the wildness.

That’s a wrap for April’s insights. I’m actually terribly excited to see what unfolds. So many happenings. Some scary, but lots beautiful. Stay informed (lightly) about the more turbulent things, but spend more time on the stuff unfolding that is beautiful.

Love,
Meaghan
